Questiontime!
Did you keep any of the notes you passed in middle/high school? Do kids still write notes or do they text and internet each other instead now?

Yes, oh wow I totally forgot about them! I have a shoe box full of them. From what my teacher friend tells me kids mostly just text each other now which really bums me out.

We either had a composition book that we passed our notes in or we would type them out on our graphing calculators.

I have tons of notes from Jr. High and High school in a box somewhere. The best part was folding them up into all kinds of shapes like boxes and envelopes and ones with pull-tab thingies!

Totally kept ‘em! Mostly we’d write back and forth about how much we loved Orlando Bloom and Elijah Wood. These were Lord of the Rings days.

Kids write notes aaaall the time. It’s less risky than texting in school. And easier to be all “That’s private, you can’t read that.” to the teacher.
I personally still have a few notes from grade school I think haha.

Me and my friends always did and we still do, even though we are in college. Maybe we are behind times, but it just is a fun way to interact. Brings back the good ol’ golden days. =)

My friend and used to doodle the most hilarious things, then she stapled them into booklets and gave them to me as a bday gift. Of COURSE I kept them.

Most kids text, but if you’re right next to the person you want to talk to you can normally just whisper unnoticed. Personally, I like to pass notes even if I could whisper. It’s more fun and my friends and I like to doodle to pass the time. :P

I haven’t noticed notes too much. But they still do those little games on paper like MASH and that pac man looking one that under each flap had a different name or scenario.

I still have like, 70% of the notes I wrote in highschool between friends. I used to throw them in a shoebox when I got home every day. Pretty sure kids just text/FB each other now. No fun!
