I was an only child until I turned 13 and my mom remarried (bringing in a step sister) and had another baby (when I was 16), so for most of my life I was pretty spoiled. This is Christmas 1985 and I’m pretty sure all of the unwrapped presents behind me are mine also - Santa used to arrange my gifts around the tree, unwrapped, but my parents wrapped their gifts to me.
In this photo: Teddy Ruxpin with additional “winter” outfit (I also have a Santa outfit for him), Nicholas the Russian World Traveler Cabbage Patch Kid, miscellaneous books and CPK accessories — to Ruxpin’s right is a toothbrush holder set with Cabbage Patch Kids on it. To my left is a yellow and white electric keyboard that also is a CPK brand toy.

Christmas 1981 at my grandmother’s house. I was 6 years old at the time and since I was then the only grandchild, I got spoiled with tons of little gifts that I loved. On the pic, a record from my favorite TV show, a Smurfs doodle kit, a Mickey Mouse jigsaw puzzle, and a Marvel superheroes rubber stamp kit.
