In 1986, when I was six years old, my older sister Alison took me to downtown Washington, DC to participate in Hands Across America. This weekend we re-lived that experience of terrifyingly large outdoor gatherings at the Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear.
Here, in a special Sibling Rally Nostalgia Edition, is her blog.

Did anyone else really resent Zack: The Lego Maniac as a kid. You’re not a “maniac” you’re just spoiled, Zack. Some parents can’t buy every individually sold Lego set. Some families can’t afford custom Lego jackets and neon signs with our names on them.
I’m more of a Jack guy when it comes to my Lego maniacs. I don’t know, he seems more “down to earth.” He’s a lego maniac of the people. (Jack the Lego Maniac, 1990)
